Telangana Assembly Elections 2018:Official attacked at polling booth for casting disabled person's vote in Huzurnagar

Voters attacked an official at the 139 polling booth in Vellatur village of Huzurnagar after he forced a disabled voter to exercise his vote to a party against his will.

The voter Kandukuri Boddaiah who urged the help of EVM operator while exercising his vote was forced to vote for Congress instead of his choice TRS. The incident came to light after a TRS agent of respective polling booth noticed the official exercising the Boddaiah's vote.

The TRS agent along with his fellow leaders thrashed the officer black and blue. The official later admitted that he cast five votes against the will of elderly and disabled voters.
