Alerting the public over a fake message being circulated widely on social media platforms stating that traffic police would conduct a Lok Adalat on December 23, the traffic police shared a message on their Facebook and Twitter handles saying the message was fake.

The message said that Hyderabad city traffic police is going to hold Lok Adalat on December 23 at Goshamahal asking the commuters to check their pending challans if any. It also said, asking for copies of Aadhar cards and original documents (RC and license), said ‘pay only 50 %’.

Responding to the issue, the traffic police on updated their social media handles saying, "we witnessed a message is going viral in Social media informing that there will be Traffic Lok Adalat on 23rd of this month. Hyderabad Traffic Police inform all the citizens that message is fake and don’t believe. Thanks."
