Nalgonda: The installation ceremony of newly elected committee of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Neelagiri unit was conducted at IMA hall in Nalgonda on a grand note. IMA Telangana State president B Pratap Reddy attended as chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, he said Neelagiri IMA branch has become role model in the State by rendering valuable services to the people through medical and blood donation camps.
He urged the State government to take serious action on quacks playing with people’s lives. And said that there are many unemployed doctors in the State who are ready to serve in rural areas.
He requested the state government to lay foundation stone for the new building of Osmania General Hospital as early as possible. The alumni of Gandhi Medical College has been providing many services at Gandhi Hospital and are proud of it , he added.
In this programme the new IMA body doctors of Neelagiri unit doctors Puual Rao (president), Kameshwar, Ramesh ( vice- presidents), PVN Murthy (secretary ), Srikanth (joint secretary ), Venu( treasurer), Jaya Prakash Reddy, Raji Reddy, Daiva Dheenam ( State council),Vasantha Kumari Rajeshwari ( Central council) and Anitha ( women eepresentative) and others participated.
