Hyderabad: TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao would be sworn in as chief minister of Telangana state at Raj Bhavan on Thursday for a second term. TRS Legislature Party, which met here on Thursday, unanimously elected Chandrashekar Rao as its

leader. Alair MLA Gongadi Sunitha proposed Rao’s name and former Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar seconded it. All the MLAs-elect unanimously elected Rao as the leader. With this, the TRS chief would be taking oath on Thursday. Governor ESL Narasimhan would be administering the oath to the chief minister at 1.30 pm.

According to sources, either MLA S Niranjan Reddy or MLC Kadiam Srihari or another MLC Md Mehmood Ali will be taking oath as minister along with KCR. The cabinet would be expanded after a week's time. Rao said that he would be taking oath on Thursday as it was an auspicious day.
