SR Nagar police took a person into their custody for cheating the persons on providing Tirumala Srivari seva services on Sunday latenight. According to police, the accused Rajkumar Reddy, resident of Manikonda, collected about Rs 20 lakh from the Shivbagh colony residents.
He collected the amount from them by saying that he will provide Srivari clothes, tickets for Abhishekam etcetera. When he failed to do so the victims questioned him and when they came to know that they were cheated by him approached police for justice. Police by filing a case took him into their custody and are investigating.
