TRS MLA Rekha Naik files nomination for deputy speaker post

  Khanapur MLA Rekha Naik from TRS party filed nomination for the deputy speaker post in Telangana assembly today. As no leader from the opposition parties filed nomination for the deputy speaker's post, Rekha Naik is said to be elected unanimously. 

However, her post will be confirmed tomorrow on the second day of the assembly session after the election. Meanwhile, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has filed nomination papers for the speaker's post.
