Telangana MLA elects to take oath today

 The first day of the assembly session in Telangana will begin with MLAs swearing-in ceremony which has been on hold from the last 37 days. The ceremony has been delayed by the TRS government waiting for an auspicious day after Sankranti. 

The oath-taking ceremony comes a day after the protem speaker Mumtaz Ahmed Khan took the oath at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. It may be recalled that TRS party supremo and Gajwel candidate K Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as chief minister of the state along with Mahmood Ali who has accorded with home affairs.
