People of Telangana are cautioned while dropping of waste on roads as it may cost Rs 500 to them. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the government will take stringent action for leaving the roads and other public places untidy. With respect to this, the CM enforced the new Panchayat Raj Act to make the villages clean and green.

All the newly joined Panchayat secretaries have to ensure the roads and villages clean. For littering and draining the roads, a fine of Rs 500 will be imposed, Rs 1000 for causing inconvenience to the people in public places and Rs 2000 fine for grabbing of lands under gram panchayat.

The newly imposed rules will come into effect after the Lok Sabha elections in the state. Meanwhile, the chief minister also warned the panchayat secretaries that there will no renewal of their probation period after three years if the rules are not implemented.
