Parched throats plead for water

Vikarabad: The Residents of Rajiv Gruhakalpa have been facing a severe scarcity of water for ten days. Water is dried up in Shivareddypet cheruvu, which is earlier used to fulfill the water needs of the colony.People complained that Mission Bhagiratha water was yet to reach the area and Manjira water supply was stopped.

 It is learned that people need to spend a lot of money to buy water from the shops. One should spend Rs 40 to buy 200 liters of water.Residents met Local MLA in this regard and complained to officials, but no action was taken. Residents urged the officials to take immediate steps to meet the requirements of the colony.
