Nampally: Advocates on Tuesday staged a dharna in front of the Nampally Court complex pressing for immediate settlement of the demands put forth by the Bar Council of India for the welfare of advocates.
The protesting advocates demanded the Centre to incorporate in the Union Budget the assurances given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 1, 2014 in Mahatma Mandir, Gujarat. They also demanded release of Rs 5,000 crore announced in the Budget for the advocates’ welfare.
