Parigi: Residents are panicking over continuous spell of robberies in the town. Burglars broke into two houses and decamped with seven tolas of gold and Rs 60,000 cash in Khan Colony recently. Police registered a case and started investigation. The locals blamed police officials for failing to control such incidents in the town. They alleged that the police were failing to ensure protection. Locals expressed anguish over continuous incidents and demanded the officials to install CCTV cameras to prevent burglaries in near future. It is learned that police are yet to identify thieves who burgled two houses in Ayyappa Colony and Teachers Colony recently.
