Karimnagar forerunner in energy saving: RTC RM

Karimnagar : Karimnagar RTC region stood first in fuel conservation in the State with saving 27,951 liters and thus reducing the expenditure to the tune of Rs17.39lakh for the corporation, remarked regional manager(RM)  P Jeevan Prasad while addressing the meeting held at the end of the Fuel Conservation Month here on Friday.

Jeevan Prasad said, “Karimnagar is the forerunner in diesel saving and commuters’ security. Compared to the state average, Karimnagar region has 5.56 Kmpl. In our Karimnagar RTC region our drivers have personally saved thousands of liters of diesel. Driver Laxmaiah  who works with Karimnagar 1 depot saved 1026.63 liters diesel, followed by BS Murthy (Godhavarikhani) 1016.09 liters, M Srinivas (Vemulawada ) 962.46 liters.

Metpalli as usual had made this year 5.88 kmpl and stand best depot in the Telangana. RM felicitated Mettpalli Karimnagar DMs Yougender Reddy, Mallesham, superintendent Sattaiah, Narayana, Venkatesh, Hameed, P Shankar, VKkumar MVreddy K.mahesh for saving diesel.  T Ravi Varma  Maddileti Kiran, Malahalrao, JPrasnna Kumar participated.
