Ensure 100% polling in LS polls

Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanti called upon all the eligible people to enrol their names in the voters’ list. On Thursday, she flagged off ‘voter chaitanya ratham’ at the Collectorate. 

Reminding that the polling percentage in the recent Gram Panchayat elections was 82 per cent only, the Collector asked the people to utilise their vote in the up-coming parliament elections 100 per cent. 

The officials will explain how to use EVMs by a mock polling exercise, she added. Rural Development Officer Venkateshwarlu, DPRO Kareem, Raghu, Nagaraj, Sudarshan and others were present.
