Banking sector adopting future-ready tech

  Hyderabad: A two-day national seminar was organised by AMS School of Informatics on Friday.
 
Addressing the inaugural session, chief guest Dr AS Ramasastry spoke on the transformations taking place in the banking sector. He said Artificial Intelligence, 5G and Block Chain technology were making a huge impact on the banking sector. He advised the students to “live today and construct tomorrow.” The guest of honour, Vijaykumar, CGM, NABARD, spoke about the financial centres which were established in rural areas to educate the rural people about use of banking and technology.

Durgabai Deshmukh Mahila Sabha president N Usha Reddy advised the youth how to excel in chosen fields and extended her best wishes to students and delegates. N Seetharambai, chairperson, K Rajender, secretary, and director Prof Vijayalakshmi released a national seminar souvenir on the occasion. Several students attended the seminar from different colleges. Osmania University Board of Studies chairman Prof R Venkateswara Rao, Prof R Nageswara Rao, the Director of IQAC, Associate and Professor Dr Sudha attended the technical sessions as the chair of the sessions. Speakers were B V N Parthasarathi and Dr Medha Kanetkar from Nagpur University.
