Child Protection Committee meets

Tandur: Child Protection Committee members held a review meeting on child-related issues at Gajapur on Friday. They reviewed the performance of government organisations as regards children, progress of schools, health status, income and caste certificates, Kalyana Lakshmi and prevention of child marriages etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Veerappa sought villagers’ cooperation in making the village free of child labour and preventing child marriages. He assured villagers to resolve the issues relating to children if they take them to his notice.
