Collector visits urban park, nurseries

  Siddipet: District Collector Krishna Bhasker directed forest volunteers and EGS employees to take care of saplings and ensure their proper growth. 

Bhasker inspected Marpadaga Urban Park, Central Nursery, Duddeda, and EGS nursery at Ravindranagar on Friday. Forest Officer Sridhar and Kondapaka MPDO V Prabhakar were present.

On the occasion, the Collector advised officials to ensure good maintenance of saplings at nurseries. He asked them to complete seeding operations at the nurseries within three days.

The Collector was piqued by the withering of as many as half of the saplings and pointed this out to the officials. 

He stated that the district secured the second place in raising nurseries in every village panchayat and was all praise for the efforts made by DRDA officials and MPDOs.  EGS staff and others were present during his visit.
