Corporator seeks speedy clearance of pensions

Hastinapuram: Seeking speedy clearance of pension applications from elders, widows, physically challenged and single women, Corporator Ramavath Padma Srinu Naik met LB Nagar Circle-4 pension officer Sridhar on Tuesday. She urged him to speed up the process without any complaints.

Later, addressing media persons, she said that eligible persons for pension have been suffering a lot due to the delay in approving their applications. It has become very difficult for them to lead their lives comfortably, she lamented. She reminded that the TRS government has been implementing various welfare schemes and development programmes for the poor. As such, it is incumbent upon officials to speed up the process and reach benefits to the targeted groups. She also thanked Bonthu Rammohan and officials concerned for timely allotment of funds to various development and welfare activities in Hastinapuram.
