Hyderabad: In connection with the National Immunization day, pulse polio programme will be taken up in the city on March 10.
This was announced by Hyderabad District in-charge Collector G Ravi at a review meeting here. He said that there are 4,85,965 children below the age of five years in the city, and instructions have been issued to the health authorities to give pulse polio drops to all of them. The programme will be taken up from 7 am to 6 pm, he said and advised the parents to ensure that all the chidren were given polio drops without fail.
