The project is part of the construction of multilevel/ Grade separators at four junctions at LB Nagar and surroundings in Hyderabad under Package – II of SRDP Phase I. The project cost is Rs 448 crore and the cost of the flyover is Rs 42 crore.
Technology Used
Precast and post tensioned technology is adopted in major elements of substructure and super structure by casting in casting yard and erecting them at site. RCC Precast technology is used in minor elements of structure like crash barriers, friction slabs and slab panels etc.
Innovative technology
By adopting modern technology, work at site has been confined to erection and stressing activities only. Formwork and staging are avoided at site for Pier, Pier Cap, Deck Slab and crash barriers.
A significant amount of time was saved and reduced the factor of risk of accidents by mechanization to a large extent and considerable reduction in manpower. Inconvenience to the at-grade traffic has been significantly reduced.
