60It is being observed that whenever a film is embroiled in a controversy it works for the business and one way or the other the film becomes a success or a profitable venture for the makers. These days, some of the moviemakers and actors are wontedly doing something like that to generate a hype through controversy and thereby good business. But here is one film which has got into a controversy genuinely but even that is not helping its collections. We are talking about 'Jabardasth' starring Siddharth and Samantha. The recent release has been touted as a proper remake of the Bollywood hit 'Band Baaja Baraat' and as a result, the makers of the original are planning for legal action. If that happens then director Nandini Reddy and producer Bellamkonda Suresh will have a hard time. While that is the intensity of the problem, all this is nowhere motivating the crowds to go to the theatres and watch the film. Some of them say copying a film without permission is not a big deal in cinema these days. In that case, only a miracle can save this film.
