Ashok Selvan to do a Telugu film

Here’s another Tamil actor who is about to make inroads into Tollywood. Ashok Selvan burst on to the Tollywood screen with his debut in ‘Billa 2’, a few years ago.

A few films and a study break later in Kollywood with films like ‘Pizza 2’, the actor is all geared up to test waters in Tamil cinema. The breezy entertainer will be helmed by Bharath Varma.

“Ashok, who has worked in handful of Tamil films and has garnered a name for himself, felt it’s time he broadens his horizons into other languages. He flagged off Bharath’s script instantly after listening to the narration,” informs a source.

The untitled film revolves around romantic and social issues, but will also have commercial elements of comedy and action. Swati Dixit is paired opposite the actor in the film.
