Seasoned star Dr Rajasekhar who is making a comeback of sorts says “I don’t know how long it had been, but I wanted to return with a bang and it turned out be the costliest film of my career,” He was elated when director Praveen Sattaru came to him with this big budget script two years ago.

“When I was offered character roles, Praveen surprised me with this gripping script

. Probably, I was destined for it,” he points out. Another obstacle was Rs 25 crore budget to make this film on par with Hollywood movies. “At the peak of my career, I dreamt of adapting Hollywood films like ‘Lethal Weapon’. I got the opportunity to do when I was going through a lean phase,” he informs.

“Also I didn’t want to lose more properties on making films since my parents were a worried lot, But the entry of producer Koteswar Raju helped me to realise my dream. Initially, producer wanted to restrict the budget to Rs 6 to 7 crore, however, when we began to shoot in locations like Georgia and other exotic places, producer began to lose his purse strings to deliver a technically polished film, thanks to a bound script,” he adds. Playing an NIA officer, he said “It is a very intriguing and engaging entertainer. After seeing the teaser, I was left spellbound. It rocked social media and received applause from all over, doubling our confidence,” he concludes.
