Kalyan Ram's ‘118’ with Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey in the female leads is being bankrolled by Mahesh S Koneru under his banner, East Coast Productions and helmed by ace cinematographer K Guhan. Speaking to the media a few days ago in Hyderabad, Mahesh Koneru said, "Kalyan Ram, who is playing the role of an investigative journalist, performed some breath-taking deep diver stunts and these stunts will be major highlights of our film." He said that KV Guhan was a popular cinematographer having cranked the camera for films like ‘Athadu’, ‘Kushi’ and ‘Jalsa’.
Earlier, Kalyan Ram was last seen in a romantic entertainer ‘Naa Nuvve’, written and directed by Jayendra Panchapakesan but it failed to impress. Incidentally, the movie was bankrolled by the same production house that is bankrolling `118’. Besides, Kalyan Ram will also be seen playing his father, the late Harikrishna in the ‘NTR’ biopic.
