Actually, `ABCD’ is originally a 2013 Malayalam comedy film that was directed by Martin Prakkat and produced by Shibu Thameens under the banner Thameens Films. The film had Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas in the lead roles. The film was made on a budget of Rs 4.5 crore and collected about Rs 12.5 crore at the box office, add makers. The Telugu version is directed by Sanjiv Reddy and also marks his directorial debut. “It would be a well-made remake,” add makers. ‘ABCD’ shooting is being wrapped up and the songs are released as a pre-release promotional tool. The comedy entertainer has Rukshar Dhillon playing the lead along with actor Bharath staging a comeback with a pivotal role. The film is being bankrolled by Madhura Sreedhar and Yash Rangineni.
