MLA's daughter has her way

Finally the episode of Ramya and Sandeep ended on a happy note on Wednesday with the lovers exchanging garlands in the presence of advocates and the media at the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).

It may be recalled that Tadepalligudem MLA Eeli Venkata Madhusudana Rao aka Nani allegedly kept his daughter Ramya under house arrest and she managed to come out and seek police protection to her and her husband Sandeep on Tuesday.

Ramya and Sandeep once again exchanged garlands in the presence of the media and said that still they face physical threat from her father. Sandeep who was discreetly presented by the police before the District Legal Services Authority said that the Tadepalligudem took him into custody though there were no cases against but still he cooperated with the police.

Both Ramya and Sandeep appeared before the chairman of the DLSA and lodged the complaint. A Later addressing newsmen, Sandeep said that they had committed no mistake. "I love Ramya and I would take care of her like her parents," he said.

Sandeep appealed to the MLA not to take revenge on them.Meanwhile, both of them met Inspector-General of police Ravi Gupta here and formally lodged a complaint with him that there was physical threat to them from the MLA. Responding to the complaint, the IG said that he would arrange for protection by instructing the Rural SP. Along with the relatives of Sandeep, the couple left for their village.
