Vijaya Prasad to head House panel on urban development

Visakhapatnam: Officials of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) met MLA, Visakha West, Malla Vijaya Prasad, and congratulated him on his appointment as chairman of AP Legislative Standing Committee on Urban Development. VUDA secretary Dr GC Kishore Kumar, chief engineer I Viswanatha Rao, chief urban planner RJ Vidyullatha, chief accounts officer D Vijaya Bharathi, estate officer B Bhavani Das, in-charge divisional forest officer (DFO) V Bhavani Shankar and public relations officer B Prabhakara Reddy met the MLA on Saturday and greeted him on his appointment. Mr Kishore Kumar extended best wishes on behalf of VUDA vice-chairman Dr N Yuvaraj, who is on a training programme. Mr Vijaya Prasad said he would strive for overall development of Visakhapatnam as a global city making use of the office of the chairman.
