Arunodaya School earns accolades

Visakhapatnam: Shruti Seshadri, Joint Director of Press Information Bureau (PIB) and wife of V Seshadri, District Collector, appreciated the management of Arunodaya School for Special Children for efficient administration. She was the chief guest at the 'Graduation Day' organised on the school campus in Ukkunagaram on Friday. On this occasion, she said the management, under the leadership of Lata Choudhary, was doing a commendable service to children who needed utmost care. She also lauded the proactive role of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) for helping the students who passed out from Arunodaya after completing 18 years of age. She expressed confidence that the children would lead a peaceful and good life with the support of their parents. She distributed certificates to 20 children who completed their studies on this occasion. Earlier, she planted saplings and visited the facilities and witnessed the vocational exhibition in the school. Ms Lata Choudhary, president of Arunodaya Special School and Visteel Mahila Samiti, observed that the ultimate aim of any disability rehabilitation programme was to ensure integration, prevent segregation and plan vocational rehabilitation to make every disabled child to become a contributor to their families.
