Realtors to aid VUDA in controlling illegal layouts

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) will take the help of AP Real Estate Developers' Association (APREDA) in monitoring unauthorised layouts in the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region (VMR), said VUDA vice-chairman Dr N Yuvaraj. Inaugurating a blood donation camp organised by APREDA at VUDA office here on Saturday, the vice-chairman said public awareness will be brought through wide publicity and campaigns cautioning the people against illegal layouts. Erection of hoardings at various places and issue of information on unauthorised layouts repeatedly through the Press will be taken up. VUDA has already formed a special team with 11 members to identify the layouts coming up without proper approvals. The vice-chairman, while appreciating the activities of APREDA, advised the association to conduct social welfare programmes fulfilling social responsibilities apart from real estate business. More than 100 members of APREDA donated blood in the camp. VUDA secretary Dr GC Kishore Kumar and some employees also donated blood. APREDA president G Chakradhar said the camp was being conducted in association with VUDA with the technical support of Rotary Club. Blood collected in the camp would be supplied to those in need through Rotary Club. New body elected G Chakradhar of Godavari Townships has been elected president of APREDA at a recent meeting of the association. The new executive body consists of A Ramesh Babu of ARB Promoters as secretary, N Sri Nagesh of Sai Priya Constructions as treasurer and MA Hussain (Sukhibhava), P Ramakrishna (Five Star Townships) and T Purna Chandra Rao (Bhoo Matha Real Estate) as vice-presidents, I Appla Raju of Datta Estates, Ch. Srinivas of Chilukuri Housing Projects, N Phani Kumar of United Developers, P Krishnam Raju of Siv Priya Constructions, K Ravi Prasad of Sree Narasimha Townships as joint secretaries. Y Venkanna Choudary of Sardar Projects, GNV Ajay Bhaskar of GNV Infrastructure, A Surya Chandrudu of SPAN Developers, D Papa Rao of Blue Bay Ventures, M Seshagiri Rao of Dharani Real Estates and K Ramakrishna Rao of RK Real Estates were elected as executive council members.
