Addressing a meeting held under the aegis of Lok Nayak Foundation on the Rama Krishna Beach, where he unveiled the bust size statues of Tirupati Venkata Kavulu � Sri Divakarla Tirupati Sastry and Sri Chellapilla Venkata Sastry � he noted that the people of Vizag were very much interested in cultural and literary events and there were many people to encourage such activities. "There is no second thought in making Vizag Cultural Capital of AP," he stressed. Former MP and Lok Nayak Foundation President Dr Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad highlighted the importance of Telugu language and recited the poem: 'Ee Desamegina-Endu Kalidina-Pogadara Nee Talli Bhuumi Bharatini.' Paying rich tributes to Tirupati Venkata Kavulu for their literary service, he said that he also wanted to install the statue of famous Telugu poet Gurram Joshua between the statues of Kopparapu Kavulu and Tirupati Venkata Kavulu.
