Hundreds participate in Ganesh immersion

Visakhapatnam: Hundreds of people, comprising several youth, children, students, office-bearers, children adopted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, devotees from various Bhajana Mandalis and Samithis of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, including those from far-flung places like Chodavaram, participated in the Ganesh immersion rally on Sunday.

The rally was flagged off by district president VR Nageswara Rao amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and rendering of Bhajans by youth and children. The rally, which began at MVP Colony Mandir, passed through TTD Circle, Ushodaya Junction, VUDA Park and Beach Road, before reaching RK Beach were the idol was immersed.
