Karunakar Rao awarded Ph D

Warangal: Kudle Karunakar Rao was awarded with Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph D) for his thesis on "Purification and characterisation of riboflavin carrier protein from spotted Owlet (Athen Brama) eggs-Studies on the cytotoxic Effect of Antisera on the growth of tumor cells". The Bio-Chemistry department of Osmania University presented Ph D to him.

Karunakar Rao, son of Ankoosu Rao, resident of Govindapuram village of Shayampet mandal done his Ph D under the guidance of Prof M P Pratap Rudra of Bio-chemistry department of Osmania University.

He was selected under Basic Scientific Research (BSR) fellowship by United Grants Commission, which is given to only meritorious students to carry research work in the Department of Sciences.
