Karimnagar: Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma inaugurated Alphores Maths Fair-2016 at a grand ceremony held at Alphores E-techno School and IAS Academy at Kottapalli here on Wednesday.
She spoke on the importance of mathematics in the present day. She appealed to students to always remember services rendered by noted mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan to mathematics and follow his footsteps. She appreciated community service activities of Alphores group Chairman V Narender Reddy.
Narender Reddy administered oath to students to the effect that they would strive to enrich the realm of mathematics. He said that it has become customary for the Alphores annually to remember Ramanujan’s services in a festive atmosphere.
