Close belt shops within a week: Collector
Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath ordered Excise department officials to close belt shops that are running in villages within a week, at a review meeting at the Collectorate conference hall here on Wednesday
Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath ordered Excise department officials to close belt shops that are running in villages within a week, at a review meeting at the Collectorate conference hall here on Wednesday.
About 300 unauthorised belt shops are running in the district and take action immediately and close them with the help from police department, said the Collector.
If any belt shop is found running in any village after one week, strict action would be taken against SIs and CIs concerned, he warned.
The officials were also told to advise the wine shop owners for maintaining price lists at their shops and to take action on those who sell wine for more price.
District Superintendent of Police Ananth Sharma and Excise department officials were present along with SIs and CIs.
