The Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of demonetisation is the greatest economical reform seen in India, said Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge) Bandaru Dattatreya, while inaugurating ‘Digi Dhan Mela’ at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

Karimnagar: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of demonetisation is the greatest economical reform seen in India, said Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge) Bandaru Dattatreya, while inaugurating ‘Digi Dhan Mela’ at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the decision of ban on high value currency notes was the great step taken by the Prime Minister.

The Central government will declare the total amount of black money deposited in banks after demonetisation, he added. He assured the beedi workers that the Central government is going to construct permanent houses for all of them by 2022.

As many as eight mobile dispensaries will be established in Telangana along with constructing 100-bed hospitals in Karimnagar, Ramagundam and Jammikunta, he added.

Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar said that Telangana is placed in top position across the country in carrying cashless transactions. He ordered the bank officials to create awareness among the people and its customers on cashless transactions and encourage mobile and net banking services.

He ordered the officials concerned to take immediate action on tax evaders. As many as 62 stalls of various government departments and banks were established to create awareness among people to carry cashless transactions as part of Digital India Campaign. Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar, MLA Gangula Kamalakar and others attended.
