Under ‘Swachh Bharat Sankalp Sidhi’, an essay writing competition on the topic, ‘What I Can do for Swachh Bharat’ was held for the students of various educational institutions at the Collectorate auditorium here on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the competitions, the Collector said it is the responsibility of children, the future citizens, to maintain the surroundings clean as the pollution has been increasing with each day with less green cover.
Later Sarfaraz Ahmed inspected the students writing the essay writing competition. District coordinator of Swachh Bharat Mission Kishan Swamy, consultant Venu Prasad, teachers Madhu and Madhusudan and students of various educational institutions were present along with others.
