The road widening works in progress in Sircilla town will be completed by the end of October, Roads and Buildings Superintending Engineer Pingali Sathish assured.

Speaking at a press meet held at R&B guest house here on Thursday, the SE explained the progress of road widening works. He also said that to speed up the works, workers from Andhra Pradesh State were hired for the construction of side-drains in the city.
As many as 100 workers were working in ten batches with 10 members in each batch. The works will be carried from Monday on war-footing
The construction works of side-drains will be completed by the end of this month and from October 2, BT roads laying works will be started, he added.
Sathish said the construction works of Collectorate complex will be started as early as possible once the road widening works are completed.
Later, Superintending Engineer P Sathish observed the road widening works and construction of dividers in progress in the town and ordered the contractors to speed up the works and complete them within the time limit.
