Rajanna Sircilla district tops in Twitter accounts

Sircilla: The Rajanna Siricilla district has added one more feather to its cap by securing the top position in the State in terms of followers with as many as 1,260 members to its official twitter account ‘Coll RajannaSiricilla @Collector_RSL’ after getting top rank in Swachhata Darpan Competitions at National level organised under Swacch Bharat Mission recently.

After the reorganisation of the districts, to find the opinions of the public and to solve their issues very quickly and with ease, the State government created twitter accounts officially in the name of the District Collectors and handed it over to them.

Rajanna Sircilla District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar utilised the platform efficiently by uploading the details of his daily programmes and posting the pictures regularly in his official twitter account ‘CollRajannaSircilla@Collector_RSL’. As many as 907 tweets were made by the District Collector till date from the beginning of the official account.

The problems that the people were facing were brought to the notice of the District Collector through the official twitter account. After getting to know about their problems, the Collector began to respond immediately issuing orders to the officials concerned to redress their grievances. In response to that, the people began to thank the Collector for taking immediate action.

The number of people who are following the official twitter account of the Collector is increasing day-by-day which has reached to 1,260 members by Tuesday which is the highest among other districts in the State.

It is to be noted that the Rajanna Siricilla district with less number of population among all the districts present in the State stood on top in terms of followers who are following the official twitter account of the district.
