Led by the Commissioner, about 150 police personnel conducted cordon and search operations at Kashmirgadda and Bharatnagar areas in Karimnagar city in the early hours of Tuesday.

Interacting with the colony people, the top cop said several reforms were introduced under the commissionerate limits for the safety of the people and the people representatives.

While purchasing vehicles people must check thoroughly the documents otherwise they may face problems in the future, he cautioned. Challan system will be introduced in Karimnagar like that of Hyderabad very soon.

The locals should take the phone numbers of Blue Colts teams that are conducting patrolling in their areas and must convey any information of anti-social elements as soon as they notice such in their localities, the Commissioner requested.

Police had seized about 53 two wheelers, four autos and one car that do not have proper documents. Assistant Commissioner of Police J Rama Rao, Inspectors Mahesh Goud, Vijay Kumar, B Ravi, Gouse Baba, Reserve Inspector Gangadhar and about 150 police personnel belong to QRT, Task Force and Armed Force were present in the Cordon and Search Operation.
