Jagtial: All land issues would be solved with the land reforms introduced by the State government, District Collector Dr A Sharath stated.

He inspected the land reform works going on in Nukalapalli village of Malyala mandal and Hanmajipet village of Jagtial rural mandal on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector told the officials to check all the records carefully by conducting grama sabha and must take objections if any, from the villagers.

The officials were told to make necessary changes in the records after studying them thoroughly, taking the objections into consideration and after observing them at micro-level. They were also told to solve petty issues in the village itself.

To carry the land reforms transparently, the Collector suggested the officials to send the records to the land owners wherever they are by collecting their phone numbers of e-mails.

About 96 to 97 per cent village were identified, which do not have any land issues. Farmers can get loans if their land records present at the revenue office and village-level are same and these loans would be directly added to their bank accounts.

After the land reform works are completed, the exact and total details of forest, assigned, agriculture, non-assigned lands and other lands will be known. The revenue department staff would stay in villages for about 10 days and complete the land reforming works.

People must utilise this opportunity to live a peaceful life without any problems in future pertaining to lands, Collector Sharath suggested. Tahsildars, revenue officials and staff and the people’s representatives were present along with others.
