Karimnagar: The TRS government is bringing dark days to Rajanna Sircilla district by neglecting the district, alleged the former MP Ponnam Prabhakar. Criticising the government’s apathy over the district, Ponnam Prabhakar threw a challenge to the government whether it is ready for an open discussion about the development of Sircilla Textile Park, at a press meet here on Tuesday.

He also questioned IT Minister K T Rama Rao as to why he has been neglecting the district, despite being a representative from this district. Prabhakar criticised that the cabinet meeting held on Monday was of no use.

The TRS after coming to power had dissolved many local bodies present across the State. The schemes like ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Pranalika’, ‘Grama Jyoti’ and others, introduced by the TRS government, are nowhere to be found, he added.

The former MP alleged that the government was trying to close ration shops in the State by decreasing their number by each day.

Civil Supply Minister Eatala Rajender must resign from his post for the State government’s decision to scrap ration shops, he demanded.
