The in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy inaugurated Aadhaar enrolment centre at the administrative building in the Collectorate here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that every person in the district must take the Aadhaar card to utilise the government welfare schemes.

Peddapalli: The in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy inaugurated Aadhaar enrolment centre at the administrative building in the Collectorate here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that every person in the district must take the Aadhaar card to utilise the government welfare schemes.

Though there are several Aadhaar centres in the district, the people were confused about their locations. Keeping this problem in view, the State IT department decided to open Aadhaar centres at the Collectorate of every district. Those, who didn’t enroled for Aadhaar cards, can now get their card at this centre in the Collectorate. He suggested the people to enroll the details of new born children also.

By paying a nominal fee of Rs 25, people can make changes in their already existing Aadhaar cards, like finger prints, address, name, e-mail etc., he informed. The Aadhaar enrolling centre will function from 10 am to 5 pm. It is the good opportunity for the people for enrolling their Aadhaar cards along with correcting mistakes if any. Additional Officer Nagarjuna, e-District manager Kavitha, and CSC PMG Disha Coordinator S Rajeshwar were present along with others.
