No blankets for SC hostel inmates

Yellareddy (Kamareddy): The inmates of SC Hostel for Boys were yet to receive blankets in spite of the onset of winter. According to the parents of the inmates, though the government has allocated huge amounts in the budget for SCs, trunk boxes, school bags, shoes and blankets were not yet distributed among the students. Uniforms promised last year were given this year. They told The Hans India that there were not even nets to the hostel windows to prevent mosquitoes. As a result, mosquito menace is on the rise once it gets dark.
