Measures to beautify Peddapalli in plans
MP Balka Suman told the district administration for preparing plans to implement various development works as part of beautifying the district headquarters. In a meeting with in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy, MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy, MLC Bhanuprasad Rao, Municipal Chairman L Rajaiah held here on Monday, he suggested building Ambedkar Vigyan Bhavan at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore.

They discussed construction of bus depots, temples development, court buildings, construction of stadia, driving school at Raghavapur, shifting the government nursery from Raghavapur to elsewhere, establishing a teacher training center on the premises of Junior College at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, tourism development at Gourikonda and so on.
It also discussed laying roads in the town at a cost of Rs 6 crore and installing central lighting system and contemplated laying roads in 20 wards of the town at a cost of Rs 25 crore. Further, the meeting discussed developing vegetable and meat markets for providing burial grounds.
