Karimnagar: Frustrated over not getting a job, an unemployed youth questioned Karimnagar MP Boinapalli Vinod Kumar about the irregularities taking place in appointments in government sector, at a programme held at Library department in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

When the MP was addressing the gathering about the commitment of the government in providing job opportunities, the unemployed youth, Yogi of Karimnagar district, interrupted the MP and questioned him about the number of jobs the government allotted and to whom.

With the unexpected incident, the MP ignored Yogi and later called him and asked about his problem. Yogi alleged that the government was deceiving the unemployed youth without filling the vacant posts present in many departments except a few posts in irrigation and through Group-I. It had not announced any jobs for postgraduates and graduates till date, he pointed out. The MP’s gunman tried to manhandle Yogi, but the MP stopped him.

Replying to Yogi’s comments, the MP said that it is not possible to provide jobs to everyone. Instead of wasting time in seeking for job, youth must prefer agriculture, he advised.

After coming to power in the next Assembly elections, all the pending works would be completed including allotment of jobs to every eligible person, assured MP B Vinod Kumar before leaving the venue.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Libraries department Ravinder Reddy tried to threaten Yogi by dragging him to his chamber. But after observing the media, he warned Yogi to leave the place immediately.
