Students demand hostel, mess facility to FC students
The activists of different student organisations have staged protest inside Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor chambers demanding hostel and mess facility for self-financing course (SFC) students. A large group of activists of TRSV and ABVP have barged into the V-C chambers and gheraoed Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sayanna in support of their demand.

A large group of activists of TRSV and ABVP have barged into the V-C chambers and gheraoed Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sayanna in support of their demand.
The activists, B Prashanth, J Rajender, K Manoj, G Veeraswamy and others complained that due to lack of mess and hostel self-financing course students were suffering a lot for the past three months. Despite several petitions, the administration has failed to address their problem. Steps should be taken with immediate effect to offer the students mess and hostel facility, they alleged. Responding to their demand, the V-C consented to provide hostel facility and mess cards to 130 SFC students.
