TMF’s district-level Mathematics Talent Test in Jangaon today
The Telangana Mathematics Forum (TMF) is organising the district-level Mathematics Talent Test in Jangaon town on Tuesday. The TMF district vice-president and media in-charge Laxminarayana Emmadi informed that the test is being conducted in connection with Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan\'s birthday to be celebrated a National Mathematics Day on December 22.
Jangaon: The Telangana Mathematics Forum (TMF) is organising the district-level Mathematics Talent Test in Jangaon town on Tuesday. The TMF district vice-president and media in-charge Laxminarayana Emmadi informed that the test is being conducted in connection with Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan's birthday to be celebrated a National Mathematics Day on December 22.
The Talent Test will be held at ZP Girls High School, Siddipet Road in the town from 11.30 am to 1 p.m. The test is being conducted for the toppers selected from all 13 mandals by mandal educational officers (MEO's) and mandal-level TMF representatives.
The test is being conducted under the aegis of district education department headed by DEO and the TMF Jangaon district unit headed by Durga Prasad, Sateesh Kumar, Vasudeva Reddy and its representatives Srirama Rao, Giridharachary, VV Aacharya and others.
The district organising committee suggested to all concerned headmasters to send the participating students and subject teachers to reach the venue before 10 a.m. The registration begins at 10.30 a.m ends at 11 am.
After the release of question papers by the DEO at 11 am, the exam will begin by 11.30 am sharply.
Lunch will be served to all the participants and teachers at 1 pm followed by distribution of certificates to the winners who will be selected from senior’s wing to the state level test, Laxminarayana said.
