A seventh class student of Government Residential School at Gadupur died due to fever while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Warangal.

Mancherial: A seventh class student of Government Residential School at Gadupur died due to fever while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Warangal.

According to reports, the student, Nayini Paveen (13) contacted fever two days ago. The hostel warden gave him some tablets, but there was no let up. He was referred to Government Hospital here and the medical officers referred the case to Warangal Government Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.

When the body was brought to Mancherial government hospital from Warangal, parents and relatives of the deceased attributed the death to the negligence by the hostel warden, whom they accused of not giving information to them in advance.

They seek departmental action against the warden and government job to one of the family members. Students’ union leaders Rajesh, Srinivas, Narendra, Naidu and Naresh took part in the demonstration.
