Leading a protest at the Rajiv Gandhi statue near MGM Hospital here on Monday, she alleged that BJP-led governments at the Centre and states have failed to promote communal harmony, peace and brotherhood in the country.
It may be mentioned here that Congress leaders staged a one day ‘fast’ as part of a nationwide call given by the AICC President Rahul Gandhi to protest against the Narendra Modi government.Gorintala Raju, Sadanandam, Prabhakar Praveen, Lingamurthy, MD Athar, Rajinikanth, Shamala, Krishna and Medikatla Sukumar were among others present.
