Cops solve murder case; six held
The police arrested six persons including a minor for their alleged involvement in the ghastly murder that took place on here Monday.
Warangal: The police arrested six persons including a minor for their alleged involvement in the ghastly murder that took place on here Monday.
It might be recalled that a headless corpse of a person called T Sambaiah was found in a gunny bag at Enumamula market area while the head was found in another bag at Kashibugga area in Warangal.
Commissioner of Police V Ravinder speaking to presspersons on Friday said Patti Kumar, Gandham Naresh, Patri Someshwar, Kasarla Ramkumar, Turpati Anil Kumar, and a minor boy, all belonging to Warangal were arrested by Intejargunj police at Chinna Waddepally tank.
According to the Commissioner, the deceased Sambaiah was kidnapped on April 22 by the accused at O City area and moved to Vayillakunta on the outskirts of the city in an auto rickshaw. They beat him up with iron rods after he lost consciousness they stabbed him to death.
After that they packed the decapitated body and head in separate bags and dropped them at Enumamula market and Kashibugga area. The motive behind the crime was the deceased Sambaiah was spreading information about the unlawful acts in which the accused were involved
The commissioner of police Ravinder informed that the accused were involved in several criminal cases under many police station limits. They will be booked under Preventive Detention Act along with rowdy sheets against them.
