Mancherial ready for Rythu Bandhu
District Collector RV Karnan said 1,31,466 pattadar passbooks were sanctioned under Rythu Bandhu scheme. 1,17,082 passbooks were ready for distribution while 14,384 books were not printed due to Aadhaar related and other reasons, he stated at a media conference here at his office on Tuesday.

Joint Collector Y Surender Rao also attended the meeting. The Collector explained that out of 3.80 lakh acres of agricultural land in the district, cheques will be sanctioned to farmers for three lakh acres. 80,000 acres were registered under Part – B.
Four banks will distribute a total of 1,25,700 cheques farmers in the district along with providing Rs 122 crores to them. Rythu Bandhu programme will be conducted from May 10 to 18 in all mandals across the district. A control room with phone number – 08736-250107, WhatsApp number – 7995016038 and tollfree number – 18001203244 was set up at Control Room in the Collectorate for the purpose, he said. Cheques will be distributed to farmers after taking Aadhaar card from them as identity proof.
Pattadar passbooks were prepared with eight types of security and it is impossible to tamper or duplicate them, he added.
